Single vs. Double Sink
While most bathrooms traditionally have had single sink vanities, double sink vanities are gaining in popularity. Depending on the size of your bathroom and your family's practices, you may want to consider a double sink vanity. Even for people who are not in the habit of using the bathroom simultaneously, a double sink vanity allows each person to have their slice of counter space.
Mounted vs. Floating
A mounted vanity has legs or a base, while a floating vanity is suspended and does not touch the floor. The installation of a floating vanity can be somewhat tricky. As the vanity attaches directly to the wall, it may be more fragile, and the installation process can damage existing wall tiles. Nonetheless, floating vanities are very trendy and are an excellent choice for a variety of bathrooms.
